New Poll Shows 6 in 10 Americans Support Cap and Trade

As the battle over clean energy legislation heats up in the Senate, CNN has released a new poll showing that 60 percent of Americans support cap and trade.

CNN says the issue shows a huge generational divide. More than two-thirds of Americans under age 50 support cap and trade, but those 50 and older are split.

The poll shows three-quarters of Democrats back the idea, as do nearly sixty percent of Independents and about 4 in 10 Republicans.

Says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland:

Independents may not be red or blue, but they appear to be green.

This is nothing but proof that 6 in 10 Americans are complete and total fools! If you believe the poll, which I have trouble doing. Especially coming from the Communist News Network.

Most people are starting to wake up the the fact that “man made global warming” is nothing but a complete and total con job. This is about advancing Socialism and NOTHING else. Wake up America!

The poll conveniently didn’t mention anything about costs. Once Americans find out this is the biggest (not to mention most absurd) tax increase ever proposed, something tells me that 60% figure will go down quite substantially. Hopefully the public will see through this charade and tell Al Gore to keep making his money selling propaganda films.
