Target picks Frontdoor Collective to test electric vehicle delivery

Target has selected the Frontdoor Collective as a partner to expand last-mile delivery service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The electric pilot program will utilize 50 Chevrolet BrightDrop vans to demonstrate how electric vans can be used at scale. Circuit EV solutions will be supporting both Target and the Frontdoor Collective throughout the pilot program.

Hermann Services commits to buying 15 electric trucks

Hermann Services, celebrating nearly 100 years in transportation, has purchased 15 Peterbilt electric trucks for their operations in New Jersey. This deployment is in part due to the success of Hermann Services 2024 pilot program operated through the NJZIP program. The original pilot program demonstrated positive outcomes in operational viability and customer appeal, with several major Hermann Services customers requesting the electric vehicles.

DHL Express U.S. launches first Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vans in the United States, expanding electric fleet

DHL Express announced the addition of 45 Mercedes-Benz electric sprinter vans for their U.S. fleet. The company has over 10,000 Mercedes-Benz electric sprinter vans operating globally, but this deployment marks the first for their U.S. operations. The vans are expected to go into operation by the end of October and will operate across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Indiana.

Now is a critical time for fleets to invest in medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks. These vehicles improve public health and help combat the climate crisis by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. Unlike traditional diesel-powered trucks, electric trucks produce no tailpipe emissions, which significantly cuts down on health-harming pollution. Adoption represents a key step toward a more sustainable and resilient transportation industry.
