The Consumer Specialty Products Association<\/a> found some nice things to say about it.\u00a0 DuPont did too<\/a>.\u00a0 Even the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association<\/a> acknowledged some improvements.<\/p>\n

And the American Chemistry Council?\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Maybe they\u2019re just slow readers over there, but ACC didn\u2019t manage to find one good thing to say<\/a> about the 2011 version of the Safe Chemicals Act<\/a>\u00a0(S. 847), introduced yesterday<\/a> \u2013 a bill that by my count includes more than a dozen significant changes responsive to concerns<\/a> raised by ACC and other industry players in the debate over reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).<\/p>\n

Seems to me that ACC\u2019s members really ought to be asking themselves whether their trade association is working in their best interests.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
