Check out the details on each announcement below. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pride Disposal launches first electric collection trucks<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Pride Disposal, a Sherwood, Oregon-based waste and recycling company, has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wastetodaymagazine.com\/news\/pride-disosal-puts-first-mcneilus-electric-collection-trucks-to-use\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">introduced<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> its first fully electric collection trucks into service. The company celebrated the delivery of two zero-emission Volterra ZSL trucks from McNeilus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on April 22. The new electric trucks will primarily serve residential neighborhoods in Washington County. These vehicles offer a quieter operation and produce no emissions, contributing to cleaner, healthier communities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">NorCal Logistics takes first step toward fleet electrification<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">NorCal Logistics, a woman-owned FedEx contractor and pickup and delivery service provider in Northern California, has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/chargedevs.com\/newswire\/california-fedex-contractor-orders-five-motiv-electric-trucks\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">begun<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> its transition to an electric fleet by ordering five Class 6 electric step vans from California-based Motiv Electric Trucks. The purchase was made possible through bridge funding and turnkey financing provided by NuGen Go, the e-mobility financing division of NuGen Capital Management.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">American Textile Maintenance begins electric fleet rollout<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">American Textile Maintenance, parent company of Republic Master Chefs and Medico Professional Linen Service, is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/chargedevs.com\/newswire\/american-textile-maintenance-orders-12-evolectric-circularev-class-5-electric-trucks\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">launching<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> its first electric fleet deployment with the purchase of 12 CircularEV Class 5 electric trucks from Evolectric. The rollout begins with an initial delivery of five units. This decision follows a successful eight-day pilot at American Textile\u2019s South-Central Los Angeles facility, where the retrofitted trucks achieved a 64% reduction in operating costs due to lower energy usage and maintenance requirements. The remaining units are expected to be delivered within the next eight weeks.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Santa Monica\u2019s Big Blue Bus adds 20th GILLIG Battery Electric bus to its fleet<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Big Blue Bus has officially <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/smdp.com\/news\/transportation\/big-blue-bus-adds-20th-electric-vehicle-to-fleet-14-more-coming-this-summer\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">placed<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> its 20th GILLIG Battery Electric Bus into service, marking a significant step forward in the agency\u2019s goal to achieve a fully zero-emission transit fleet by 2030. The newly deployed 35-foot bus is the first of 15 additional vehicles scheduled to arrive this summer as part of the agency\u2019s third order from GILLIG. Each bus is equipped with 588 kWh of onboard energy storage and proudly displays the agency\u2019s mission: &#8220;Zero\u2013Emissions for People, Place &amp; Planet.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Now is a critical time for fleets to invest in medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks. These vehicles improve public health and help combat the climate crisis by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. Unlike traditional diesel-powered trucks, electric trucks produce no tailpipe emissions, which significantly cuts down on health-harming pollution.
