However, the story treadmill runs in reverse too, as evidenced by the attention being paid to California\u2019s world-leading climate program, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arb.ca.gov\/cc\/ab32\/ab32.htm\">AB 32<\/a>, which is being fully implemented during a time of strong economic recovery in the Golden State.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2015, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epa.gov\/climateleadership\/awards\/dinner.html\">U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)<\/a>, The Climate Registry, the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, and the Association of Climate Change Officers will host the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.climateleadershipconference.org\/\">Climate Leadership Conference in Washington D.C<\/a> and California\u2019s AB 32 story and success will be on full display.<\/p>\n<p>At the CLC in Pentagon City, taking place February 23<sup>rd<\/sup> through 25<sup>th<\/sup>, hundreds of policy makers, businesses, and advocates from across the nation will learn about and discuss efforts that are leading the way on climate solutions. As part of that discussion, the California story \u2013 from cap and trade to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard \u2013 will be showcased and broadcast in a multi-hour seminar, connecting state-level solutions to national decision makers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->On January 5, 2015, in his <a href=\"http:\/\/gov.ca.gov\/news.php?id=18828\">state-of-the-state address<\/a>, Governor Brown told all Californians that he is committed to our state\u2019s climate program, and much more will be accomplished over the next 15 years to see it through. The CLC seminar on February 23, 2015 will demonstrate how California\u2019s climate goals and accomplishments are of national significance.
