Monitt, executive director of the Philadelphia-based Clean Air Council<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe must let our elected officials, specifically Sen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesleader.com\/search?searchterm=%22Arlen+Specter%22\">Arlen Specter<\/a>, of Philadelphia, and Sen. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesleader.com\/search?searchterm=%22Bob+Casey%22\">Bob Casey<\/a>, of Scranton, know that we need them to be leaders in passing strong climate and energy legislation, not simply energy legislation, and that we need it now.
