According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/sites\/production\/files\/2018-08\/documents\/utilities_ria_proposed_ace_2018-08.pdf\">EPA\u2019s own numbers<\/a>, Wheeler\u2019s proposal could lead to more than <em>one thousand extra deaths<\/em> and tens of thousands of additional asthma attacks each year. It forfeits the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.epa.gov\/epa\/cleanpowerplan\/fact-sheet-clean-power-plan-numbers.html\">lifesaving benefits<\/a> the Clean Power Plan would provide for the health and well-being of all Americans.<\/p>\n<p>More than 70 percent of Americans \u2013 including a majority in every Congressional district in the country \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/climatecommunication.yale.edu\/visualizations-data\/ycom-us-2018\/?est=CO2limits&amp;type=value&amp;geo=county\">support putting strict limits<\/a> on carbon pollution from existing power plants, according to a recent poll analysis.
