Rush Limbaugh Attacks – Help Us Fight Back

Rush Limbaugh and the Dittoheads are urging their supporters to flood Capitol Hill with calls attacking those who voted yes on the landmark American Clean Energy and Security Act. We need your help to fight back.

First, find out if your Rep voted yes on the bill: http://www.grist.org/article/2009-06-26-waxman-markey-bill-vote-count/

Then, call the Capitol Hill switchboard — (202) 224-3121. Ask to be patched through to your Rep.

Finally, tell the office staff that you strongly support the landmark climate bill and applaud the Rep. for voting to pass it.

This was a tough vote for a lot of members of Congress. But, thanks to the courage of 219 of them, we now have a chance to move America forward and create the clean energy economy we’ll need to compete in the 21st century. This bill will break our addiction to foreign oil, put millions of Americans to work, and, along with cuts from other countries, will help avert the catastrophic threats of run-away global warming.

Please call your Rep now to applaud his/her vote on the landmark climate bill.

Since the bill allows CO2 to keep rising until 2026, and subsidizes and incentives, through the $90 billion in “energy efficiency and renewable-energy technologies” , this bill will make climate change worse, NOT better. You have to take a close look at actual results of what will happen with this bill, and it will indeed be no friend to our planet Earth nor will it have any effect on reducing global warming. All this bill does is line the pockets of lobbyists and politicians, once again! It will cause more destruction to our land and air, and even put our economy more at risk than it already is now!

This is not true. The bill calls for CO2 emission cuts of 3% below 2005 levels by 2012, 17% by 2020, 42% by 2030 and 83% by 2050. I think you’re mistaking emission cuts with permit allocations.

Yes, call your Senator and tell them NOT to vote for cap’n’tax. World temperatures are falling, sea ice is increasing, and ocean heat content is not rising. There is no “global warming crisis.”

See for yourself: Here is a graph of world temperatures the last 20 years: http://woodfortrees.org/plot/hadcrut3gl/from:1989/to:2009 . Temperatures peaked in 1998 and have slowly fallen since.

I agree 100% with RL but it is not all about the climate it is the way Obama and his hench men went about it. If this Bill passes we are done we will not be able to afford to live here. Can you see a Fed agency set up to inspect your home so you can sell it we can’t get answer on why we can’t get food stamps. Just what we need a Government set up like Europe. I think alot of we needed change but not change like CUBA Obama is out of control he is taking over all private Industry, he is telling us how to sell are homes and trying to take away the one thing that other countries wish they basic freedom. Think of it this way when him and H Clinton get into it about Iran there is becoming a serious problem and when the Liberals in Hollywood start saying this is not what they signed up for we are in trouble. Obama wants to model uor country to the standards of Calif the last I read they are Bankrupt, then he has the nerveto BS us saying his Stimulus plan has saved jobs of Police, Fire Figthers ect tell that to the people in Calif who are on furlow. Remember alot of people died defending our freedom right here on U.S. soil and during WWll. We need to be heard in diplomatic ways please don’t even think of violence do it with phone calls and peacefull rallies and the old fashion Tea Parties and get out and vote these nuts out of office.

It is easy to misinterpret trends in graphs.
I suggest you look at the woodfortrees site more carefully:
    http://woodfortrees.org/notes.php#trends
Clearly, the current trend shows global temperatures rising.

As for RL, let’s recall that this buffoon told us that
volcanoes caused the ozone hole. His expertise does not lie
    in the realm of science.

Temperatures peaked in 1998 and have fallen since. The June, 2009 UAH, data is in and the anomaly is zero! Another temperature drop.

Here is a graph of CO2 levels: woodfortrees.org/plot/esrl-co2

Here is the bottom line: The IPCC says that CO2 and world temperatures are inextricably linked. This data tends to falsify that hypothesis.

100% for RL, every 5th grader (exept barak “insane” Obama knows, that plants need CO2 to survife, – when are we kicking these idiots out of office and for good and for a long, long time – until the next global warming ~ 200 years or so from now
please stop this nonsence, start reading and learning what you have missed in school
