In reading the news this week, I was struck by how many reports there were from around the world of problems related to global warming. Here’s what I found:

[Warming poses threat to Chesapeake](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/19/AR2007071901112.html)
*Washington Post*, July 20, 2007

[Warming may bring hurricanes to Mediterranean](http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070716/sc_nm/climate_mediterranean_dc_1;_ylt=AljlBTTpblN4sdH2EHdc52lrAlMA)

[Climate change threatens Italy’s Po River delta](http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070717/sc_afp/italywaterenvironment_070717180429;_ylt=AjvoIoIdzYKkLVF.uJTOXYlrAlMA)

I also came across an interesting article in the *Washington Post* about by a guy who went around the world [visiting places affected by global warming](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/13/AR2007071300537.html). The descriptions are, um, chilling.
