In case you missed it, our first call for edits to our Declaration of New Patriotism got a huge response! We listened and made some revisions.

What defines a patriot in 2007?

Take part in the drafting of a new declaration. Over the next two weeks, Environmental Defense members, activists and supporters will help us draft the Declaration of New Patriotism for all who are concerned about global warming.

Momentum for action on climate is growing

General Motors, as well as 12 other companies and non-profits, have joined USCAP, the coalition calling for a cap and trade system to combat climate change. This bring the coalition to 22 corporate partners, effectively doubling the initial membership.
