Conference Call: 3 Critical Weeks – Status of the Climate Security Act
November 14, 2007 | Posted by EDF Blogs in Conference Calls, Fred Krupp, Global Warming, Steve Cochran
The Environment and Public Works Committee (EPW) has scheduled Dec. 5 as the date for the "mark-up" and vote on America's Climate Security Act, so the next three weeks mark a critical juncture in our nation's march to enacting meaningful climate legislation.
This is the first in a series of weekly teleconference updates focusing on our efforts to make sure there are sufficient votes to report this bill to the full Senate. Of unique interest on this call is an update on Fred Krupp's testimony on November 15—the date of the committee's last hearing before the "mark up" and vote.
The call was held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1:30 PM Eastern.
