Ever Seen a Lynx?
June 10, 2009 | Posted by Heather Shelby in Wildlife
The Canada lynx, America's second largest cat, was originally listed as endangered because of habitat loss and overtrapping. Now, global warming poses a new threat as this cat's snowy habitat thins. If you've been lucky enough to come across one of these furry hunters, please comment below and share your story!

Seems to me EDF is hiding from facing the climate crisis with these kind of postings. These animals won't be seen in the future if we do not get the climate crisis under control. Also the ever expanding massive messes of organic wastes and sewage solids are unrecognized but controllable contributors to the climate crisis and more. Those messes with germs, toxics and drugs are polluting more and more water systems as escapes occur with greater frequency as well as more outright dumping of the messes. The pollution from those messes may be what wipes out animals including humans if we do not some controlling of the messes soon.
Along with this pollution I have to wonder why no one at EDF is talking about NRDC's selling out to the "Clean Coal" fraud that can not avoid coal ash pollution as well as massive environmental damage from mining. See the NRDC Switchboard blog posting by H. Henderson, June 12 on Future-Gen, the CC&S plant in ILL. and my comment there. Dr. J. Singmaster
