You are recommending we watch Earth: the Sequel on the Discovery channel to show our support. What about all the people like me who do not have cable? If you really want everyone to be able to watch, why not air it on PBS?

Hi Judy — We don't have any choice in the matter. It's a Discovery show. However, in the near future, the show should be available on DVD through Discovery. Or, you can purchase the newly released paperback of Earth: The Sequel for only $10.85 on Amazon — http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0393334198?ie=UTF8&tag=environdefens-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0393334198.

Until ED and other environmental groups face up to their useless claims that all we need to do to stop global warming is curb vehicle and power plant emissions, EARTH will have no sequel. We have to find a way to reduce the overload of GHGs already in the biosphere not just slow the adding of more. I have stated in many comments to ED staffers and on this blog that controlling the massive ever-expanding messes of organic wastes and sewage by using pyrolysis offers a way to actually remove some carbon from recycling.
