Your Outrages – Post Bogus Claims from the Opposition

The distortions and lies from opponents of global warming action are flying fast and furious. Please help us keep up by adding claims you've seen as comments to this post.
We'll review your submissions and try to respond to as many as we can in the main Truth Squad categories.
Submission suggestions:
- Please send us the exact quote from our opponents with source or link. We're looking for material that we can directly refute and it helps for us to understand the context in which comments were made.
- Please keep this focused on claims from opponents of global warming action. There are plenty of other places on the web where we can debate the finer points of climate legislation. We'd like to use this space to focus on the most outrageous claims from those opposed to any real action at all.
- Please feel free to provide links to video, radio, podcasts, blogs and other forms of online content.

The claim is that the role of carbon dioxide is exaggerated and that water vapor is a much greater contributor to warming. The quote:
"Anything more than a glance at the computer models favored by the "caused by humans" crowd will show that the role of carbon dioxide is grotesquely exaggerated. Indeed the models are incapable of handling the role of the prime greenhouse gas, water vapor (clouds etc), which accounts for 25 to 30 times as much heat absorption as carbon dioxide."

"…………….but there is no HOT SPOT in the atmosphere, repeat no HOT SPOT, the very mechnism that is required to support the AGW hypothesis.
After 50 years of looking and measuring by weather balloons and satellites the conclusion is simple, no HOT SPOT means there can be no man-made global warming.
The only way a failed hypothesis can exist under criticism is to turn it into dogma, and article of faith. All AGW proponents are doing is preaching the party line – parrot fashion – an obedient and unthinking response.
No wonder more and more people are rejecting environmentalism, where it is now a sin to be human."
