But it doesn’t completely explain the Cap and trade concept to me (I am new to this concept) in a practical situation. My confusion: For example: If a person installed a windmill (clean energy) and somehow put the energy the windmill produced on the power grid -- then -- would that person be able to trade/sell some energy credits to a company producing, or shipping, fossil fuel (CO2 emitting energy)?
