As a part of society, I feel that it is our obligation to help solve environmental problems. Like Michael Oppenheimer said, "In about a century, some of the places that make America what it is may be slowly be erased." We have realize that these is serious, and that we have to do something about it. Society could help in many different ways: By making others realize that environmental warming could bring serious cosequences, like the rise of sea level. We can also take the subway to get to places, instead of cars. Society could form campaigns against companies that produce mayor toxic gases to the environment. In conclusion, there are many ways of helping.

The government should be playing a major role in this situation. They should set laws stopping the use of gasoline. Gasoline should be substitute by clean diesel. In fact, that would benefit both the environment and society. Global warming would decrease, and United States would be avoiding more conflicts with the Middle East.
