During the day you can just go to the mall, bookstore or other shopping centers with air conditioning. In some cities, they have centers opened for the homeless and others to stay during the day and stay cool. Otherwise, a less expensive way of staying cool is just using a portable air conditioner or a window air conditioner in the room you are in. These can be found in various stores like www.ackiosk.com

Human body can addapt to various temperatures, from one extreme to another. You can say we are the luckiest species on earth.

But this is not just about us, it is about all the species that depend on us understanding global warming and climate. We still don't know much about it, but there are more and more information on the internet, which is great. On www.seaclimate.com, the climate is explained from the perspecive of oceans, because climate can be defined as "the continuation of oceans by other means".

Arthur B. Robinson's decade old report was bad science even then and is clearly debunked now. The Oregon Insitute of Science and Medicine is a fundamentalist Christian based organization trying to make its version of pseudo-science appear credible. Why would anyone post a ten-year old study on an area like global warming that has accumulated a tremendous amount of new research and data since that time?

Kudos to the Rev. Rich Cizik for trying to convince evangelicals that global warming is real. Cizik is the Washington director of the National Association of Evangelicals.
