Bike-to-Work Week

The League of American Bicyclists is promoting Bike-to-Work Week from May 14-18, and Bike-to-Work Day on May 18. Biking is the ultimate in clean transportation, emitting no greenhouse gases whatsoever. Plus it keeps you fit and it’s fun.

Still not sure? Check out our stories from people who bike to work daily. If you decide to join in, tell us your experiences!

Greetings..cycling is way fun and exhilarating. I urge everyone to get on their bikes..and begin the road to deeper breathing and greater sights.

I work at home, so next week I am going to ride around the block in the morning so I can feel like I am a part of bike to work week!

I run a clean energy technology hedge fund/ investment advisory service, so if anyone is wondering about investment opportunities in wind, solar or transportation please call me!

I just started biking to work whenever possible a couple of weeks ago. It is so much more interesting that driving. People say hi, I notice something new every day. It was hard the first day, but it keeps getting easier which makes me feel great!

Although I have a driver’s license, I never really put any thought into driving my own car. Since I like being out in the community, I find biking to be an excellent way to keep myself fit.

When I began working, I started out as a pedestrian. After awhile, I decided to bike to work as well as walking. Therefore, I encourage others to try it, too!

I’m encouraging all my colleagues and friends to ride their bikes to work this week!

Why not get the whole office to take part!
